About This Event
Fawlty Towers — The Play is John Cleese's authorised stage adaptation of his legendary BBC sitcom. Directed by Caroline Jay Ranger and written by Cleese himself, the production combines three beloved episodes — The Hotel Inspector, The Germans and Communication Problems — into one two-hour theatrical experience with a brand new finale. Fresh from a completely sold-out West End season, this marks 50 years since the original series first aired. The 18-strong touring cast is led by Danny Bayne as Basil Fawlty, with Mia Austen as Sybil, Hemi Yeroham as Manuel, and Joanne Clifton as Polly. Expect all the classic moments — the fire drill, the moose head, the goose-stepping — brought to life with the physical comedy and razor-sharp timing that made the original a masterpiece.
