About This Event
A Sense of Wonder brings together A-level artwork created by staff and students from Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham. Displayed across Gallery One and Two at Queen's Hall, the exhibition features pieces from the previous and current academic years — a snapshot of the creative talent emerging from the town's secondary school. Many of the young artists go on to study at Newcastle College's foundation course before pursuing creative degrees across the country. The exhibition is free to visit (donations welcome) and runs Monday to Saturday, 10am–4pm, from June 13 to July 4.
